Each ownership group has had a number of limited partners. This section only covers the majority owners.

1987-1994: Harvey Ratner & Marv Wolfenson

Marney Gellner has been part of the Wolves broadcast team since 2002.  She has served as studio host, sideline reporter and play-by-play announcer.  Marney is also the play-by-play voice of the Minnesota Lynx.  Prior to joining the Wolves, she worked in local television in North Dakota and Wisconsin.

1994-2025: Glen Taylor

Michael Grady

Michael Grady has been the television voice of the Wolves since 2022.  He was previously a sideline reporter for the Brooklyn Nets and play-by-play voice of the New York Liberty of the WNBA.  In 2025, Grady joined the national broadcast teams for NBC and Amazon Prime Video.  He has also called games for ESPN, TNT, NBA TV and CBS.

Alan Horton

Alan Horton has been the radio voice of the Timberwolves since 2006, adding television duties for selected games in 2025.  He also called Minnesota Lynx games for seven years.  Prior to joining the Wolves, Alan was an announcer with the Seattle SuperSonics.

Jim Petersen

Jim Petersen has been a Wolves analyst since 1997.  He played college ball at the University of Minnesota before an eight year NBA career with Houston, Sacramento and Golden State.  Jim was an assistant with the Minnesota Lynx from 2009-2016, during which time the Lynx won three WNBA championships.
